First things first: HAPPY ANNIVERSARY MOM AND DAD!!! 30 years today!
Hopefully they remember this year! : ) It was pretty awkward when my Uncle Pete called and wished them a happy anniversary and they hadn’t realized it and did that weird thing where they both mumbled about what they were doing to celebrate and it was contradictory. You know that weird thing, right?
But really-they will remember this year. I think. Good thing we celebrated when Main Man and I were there two weeks ago.
I am a really lucky kid to have such a great family and my parents are amazing role models. They are good, honest people who are full of love and are so incredibly generous and they give everything they have to whatever task is at hand. They are both truly remarkable and I admire them every day.
I love you guys so much!!! Now please-do something special to celebrate yourselves and your love!
Just a few random pictures for a light Tuesday before tomorrow’s What I Ate Wednesday. Hope you all survived your Mondays!!!
Thanks so much to my beautiful friend Sara for having us over for a BBQ Sunday night! Main Man and I got to meet 20 new people-how great is that?!
There was a fabulous dog at said BBQ who puts my sorry canines to shame with his amazing tricks and incredible fashion sense:
I seriously wish I looked that cool.
Finally-does your fridge ever look like this? That’s just scary to me.
Guess we went a teeny tiny bit crazy with food preparation Sunday night. Yes, that really is 4 cartons of eggs…and some leftover Albuquerque Salsa. What’s in your fridge?
Get excited for a new recipe on Thursday! You’re going to like it-I promise!
